Finding someone without some sort of scar is like finding a fly without its wings. Scars are just a part of being human. Some can be are easily covered with a bit of makeup while others require more drastic measures.

If you take a look at the market, you'll probably find at least a dozen different types of products claiming to help reduce scars from surgeries, wounds, and even stretch marks. Nevertheless, most of them are expensive and have a hard time keeping their promise of scar removal.

You may have tried all the traditional products there are and still have scars, but don't let this discourage you. However, you can still find a great deal of comfort in a natural skin care cream that contains ingredients capable of "dissolving" scar tissue. It may not make much sense to you to choose a natural product over a traditional one, but bear with me.

Miracle Products from Nature

Two skin care ingredients have been used for centuries to cure skin problems and other ailments:

*Snail Serum or Helix Aspersa Muller extract

*and Rose hip oil

The use of snail serum, for example, can be traced as far back as Hippocrates. Both Hippocrates and some of his colleagues would use snail serum to soften skin and treat Rosacea.

Rose hip oil also has a millenary tradition. For centuries, indigenous tribes in the South of Chile have used rose hips for problems such as scurvy and kidney dysfunction. It has also been used as moisturizer and to minimize stretch marks.

Scar Treatment

Snail serum became important to scar treatments about two decades ago when heliculture workers noticed that the part of their skin that had come in contact with snail serum was healing at a miraculous rate. It was soon obvious to the skin care industry that Helix Aspersa Muller extract had to become a part of every scar treatment and skin care product.

Snail serum is a glycoconjugates compound that consists of enzymes, co-enzymes, peptides, and other molecules. It makes cellular communication more efficient and helps reduce scar tissue formation in the skin. These glycoconjugates also help regulate cellular proliferation, reducing excessive inflammation.

When the serum is applied to the affected area, the glycoconjugates make a bee line towards the site of injury and begin the process of breaking down the damaged cells with amino acids. The broken down cells are quickly eliminated and replaced with healthy cells.

Rose hip seed oil is also a benefit for treatments that depend on stretch mark removal. This product works by accelerating the skin's cellular activity to improve skin renewal and cell regeneration.

Wound Healing

Both snail serum and rose hip oil can speed up the healing process. They both help accelerate the skin's natural renewal process thereby quickly replacing damaged skin cells with new ones. But, be warned, not all scars react alike. For example, rose hip oil and helix aspersa muller extract may not be as effective on keloid scar removal as they are on preventing their formation.
